This set is hand-painted and from the 1970's. Polish stacking dolls are much different than their counterparts, the Russian dolls. I happen to think they have a more interesting look and some are highly collectible. They usually open at the bottom, and sometimes only have 3 to a set. Unlike Russian sets, Poland creates several family sets. This is a 5 piece set. These are in good condition with sticker on bottom. A couple of flecks of paint have fallen off a couple but are still great condition.

This vintage 1970's set is in good condition and very typical of the polish family set. You will note they usually have a little nose sticking out on the first doll. That seems to be something a lot of the polish dolls have.
