You are bidding on a 1957 Lincoln Capitennial Wooden Nickel.It was given out in 1957 uptown in Springfield Illinois at a Birthday Party celebrating the birthday of Springfield,Illinois.On the front of the nickel it shows Lincoln standing in the outline of the state of Illinois.It says Capitennial on a ribbon going across his legs.It has a picture of the state capital on the right side of Lincoln & a building on the left side of him but I don't know what that is.On the top it reads Land Of Lincoln.On the bottom it says June 30th -July 6th.On the back it says ONE WOODEN NICKEL at the bottom it has the number 5 and the cents sign. It also says June 30,1957.The next one says Bresler's 33 Flavors Ice Cream Shop. It says Good For Any Purchase. On the back it says 5 cents off. The next one says Wooden Nickel It has the Head of an Indian Made in U S A On the back it says Mountain Wood Carvers. The last one says Gopher Chip.
