GIN stands for get it now. You probably don't have the ability to list with that option because you are too new

No you cannot access google play. it will not run the apps. There is an app called slideme that has a lot of apps that will work on it. You need an app from slideme to watch youtube videos. you cannot go to the youtube website and watch a video. it does have a barnes and noble app on it to download books from the barnes and noble website.

I installed the slideme app on the tablet, along with apps needed to watch youtube videos. I also put on some game apps and movie watcher apps.
