No, the batteries it has right now are dead. They are CR2's. When I used the camera I always bought them from Target. They're pretty inexpensive.

I prefer film cameras, and this was a very expensive camera. I will be bidding.

Do your research before you post things like that. I got this camera as a gift from my parents about 10 years ago, and it was NOT $759. It is not digital. Look up the camera on Amazon or something. I listed it on Listia because I have a digital now, and don't need the film version.

Its a great camera.. I got one , and also went digital, but still like to use film every now and then.. They didn't cost that much money .. as the digital ones do.. but prices even on the digital ones are finally coming down.. Super auction, make someone a great camera..
