Dance Dress Codes are generally enforced at most academies. Proper dress for dance is extremely important as teachers need to be able to see a dancer's body in order to give corrections. T-shirts, shorts and sweats are not acceptable for most class attire, but can be worn to and from the studio as cover-ups.
