The listing, Micro FM Transmitter, Spy Bug!!! has ended.

This is a Micro FM transmitter (Oscillator) , all you do is connect a 9v battery and tune the tunning coil to the proper FM radio wave and just like that you can listen in on what's going on wherever you hide the transmitter.

looks like the real deal, we used to make these in digital circuits! I'm down for one that you've already made

Yeah it's basically an FM oscillator I put together with some spare parts I had lying around the shop, works really well

what is the range? how far away can u be and still hear with a clear frequency?

well that all depends on how strong the frequency you are trying to overcome is. the range for the frequencies of this osciallator is 100-108 mhz. You'll basically take over a FM radio station and the weaker the station in the respective operation area, the less interference your broadcast will have to contend with. Like any radio wave , FM is also affected by land features and obstacles. It's not the most efficient implementation of this type of circuit ( I could make it much smaller and more efficient), but all that being said; from playing around with it, I got between 100 - 200 sqaure yards of clear broadcast radius.

would u b willing to share instructions on how to make one?

you really need good soldering skills, soldering equipment and an understanding of digital logic of circuits to make one from scratch

I've been certified under the strictest soldering level there is... and have a $200 iron as well. ;)
