The listing, Vito Leblanc (B flat) Clarinet with case has ended.

Are you looking for a way to get your child into a band program without shoveling out hundreds of dollars for an instrument. Here is your chance to use some of those well earned points to make that happen.

Whether you're a young student just learning or looking for a medium grade clarinet for your own enjoyment or learning here it is.

Leblanc Vito clarinets were named after the founder of Leblanc USA, Vito Pascucci. Leblanc student instruments have always been sensitive to the needs of developing students. This clarinet was purchased back in '97 for a little over $1000 and has been kept in great condition and cared for. All corks have been treated and kept up as well as key and thumb pads.

Shipping payment accepted through paypal only.
If item ends with 200k credits or more shipping fee will be waived!!

As always all listia rules apply. I don't believe in accidental bidding or buyers remorse. Make sure this is the item you would like before bidding. I do try to ship the next morning after bidding ends, however occasionally real life happens and I have 7 days

I don't mind hearing tips or suggestions please in the future direct them to my inbox rather than as comments on my auctions. Thanks.

Do you realize that's over $120 worth of credits? Better bring the start way down.

First I can't change it because there's a bid but if it didn't go for at least that there's no point in me selling it, it's worth the price it is at.
Second it depends how you calculate credits. It is a lot of credits if you're buying them through listia. Listia is not gonna give you the going rate on credits because it's counter productive to the goal of the site which is listing auctions for credits. I take a look at rewards store items, gift cards, and other auctions to keep an eye on what the true value of credits are, currently being about 1200-1400= $1 so if you convert it to money it's about a $70 start price, however if you're using the site as built and doing auctions there's not $70 put into those points just items you didn't need. Also since it is an auction site, I've seen things go for more than actual value just because users would rather use points than go out and spend dollars, so demand for an item plays a part as well. This item I know is not worth the price I paid new, which was about $1000. It is however in great condition and still is a great value, I'd rather have it relist 5 times and go to someone who appreciates the value and condition than throw it up here for virtually nothing in return. Hope this helps clear up why it's set where it is.
I'm sorry you feel it's over priced, it's a great instrument and I hope whoever gets it keeps in in great condition and is able to enjoy it for many more years to come.

Is this a plastic clarinet or a wood clarinet?

This is plastic, however to be more specific is ABS and being a LeBlanc it's resotone, which at least was their trademark material. When the company sold in 03 a lot changed I'm not sure what they use now. From what I heard they're not as good as they use to be and you can't get the V40s anymore. A well made wood clarinet is a beautiful insturment emphasis on well made, however they do require much more upkeep and care and are more supseptible to the elements.
