This commemorative half was issued by the Philadelphia mint in 1952 to honor Booker T Washington and George Washington Carver. It is 90% silver. Sorry - my old brain doesn't cope with pictures very well - and don't have a digital camera. You can see a picture of the coin by googling it as stated above - and the one I have is absolutely brilliant, uncirculated condition - has been stored in its cardboard 2X2 for over 40 years.
