This wonderfully detailed, handcrafted hard plastic Valentine's Day LAPEL PIN was made by Hallmark in 1989. It is known as the "LIGHT UP VALENTINE HEART with TIC TAC TOE Game" lapel pin. Many of these vintage Hallmark Lapel pins are modeled after Hallmark Merry Miniatures of the same design.

The older pin features a solid white heart with red "X"s and heart shaped "O"s in the shape of a TIC TAC TOE game board. The pin has an 'on/off' switch on the back and when in working condition the three diagonal red hearts light up and flash in rotating order from top to bottom.

This pin takes 2 button cell batteries which ARE included. This item is still in original package. This vintage brooch is Hallmark item number VLP1006. The pin has a hook/safety pin "C" style clasp; not a rotating c-clasp.
