This started becoming a phenomenon when antique glass, made smooth like sea shells after being in the ocean for decades or even centuries, began washing up on shores only at certain beaches. It should be added that glass is smooth and not sharp or hard to handle because it has been gently caressed by ocean waves over many years. So it is as smooth as mother of pearl - unlike normal glass pieces. Above you have green, yellow, pink, clear, and even bluish shades. Sea glass is now quite the hot item and in demand - so it's actually one area where what was once perhaps litter in the ocean has produced some beautiful pieces. Add these to yours! :) KK
