When my children were small, I began and directed a puppet ministry in our church. I made all the puppets after taking a puppeteering class through Petra Puppets. The puppets were all made in the style of the Jim Henson Muppets. I was amazed at how it was something that the children of all age groups were anxious to be involved in and how well they all worked together to make the stages, puppets, costumes, etc.. We even did puppet shows at a local homeless ministry as well as other churches. This is a great way to get the children of your church or just your neighborhood involved in something other than computer games, video games, cell phones, smoking, drugs and alcohol. I had children from 2 years up to 17 years old working together in the puppet ministry. Several of the older children even went on a missions trip to the Ukraine and to Mexico using the costumes and puppets. God Bless all of you happy bidders!
