Description

The listing, Lot of 32 Stamps From Columbia has ended.

Nice lot of 32 stamps from Columbia. All used, and all are off paper. No two stamps are alike!

This would be perfect for a new collector, or, especially for a stamp club!

Most are quite old, but there are some that are fairly recent. I've tried to cull out the stamps that were torn, missing corners, heavy postmarks, etc. Most have been hinged at some point in their little lives.

I really don't like this "one stamp at a time" business, so you'll only see large lots from me. If you like the large lots....keep an eye open.

Always FREE shipping, and NEVER a minimum opening bid. I don't like those either!

NO international shipping!!!!

I love your auctions! I feel the same way... 1 stamp at a time, what a waste of time!
I just wish you would consider shipping to CANADA as well! :(

Hey, they keep closing local post offices. There is no government funding anymore for the USPS. The ONLY thing that keeps your local post office open is your purchase of stamps from them for mailing.
It used to be that each household averaged 6 pieces of mail per day. Now, it works out to only two. If those locals don't make at least a tiny profit - they will be closed. And, when they close, we can all forget about stamp collecting.

THEREFORE, I think single stamp auctions are GOOD for the hobby, increase the mailing, provide an opportunity to share and learn something about the stamps that bulk listings usually avoid. Yeah, sometimes there's that rush of capturing a whole horde of stuff, and I wouldn't take that away from anyone, but it's worth considering how much there is to lose by cutting out the supports which make the hobby possible and the activity a hobby, at all.
