Up for auction is this captivating sterling silver ring size 11, stamped 925. The large emerald cut midnight blue sapphire is beautiful. Eight brilliant round cut white topaz surround the main stone. Topaz is the birthstone of December, and sapphire is that of September.

These stones are laboratory created, but their properties, chemical, optical and physical, are identical to that of naturally occurring stones. Man made gems are much hardier than their naturally occurring cousins, not so subject to temperature change, drying out, cracking or grazing.
