Rare, Genuine Australian Shell Opal doublet, 22x14mm, 5.2ct pendant w/ 24" GP Serpent Chain. This Incredible Opal-replaced seashell flashes blue in daylight.

This opal was cut (by me) from a small shell. The potch was removed with a Dremel leaving only the very thin translucent opal. Then the back was blackened and the bail was attached.

I am satisfied that the opalized shell pendant is as good a work as I have ever done.
