The listing, Large 1 oz Jar Peal Ex Mica Pigment Powder - Magenta #632 - Art Craft Jewelry Resin Supply has ended.

Large 1 oz Jar (about 2.5 x the 6 gram jar size) of Pearl Ex Pigment Powder - Magenta #632

A Super Bright Pink Color

Pearl Ex Powdered Pigments are an extremely versatile product! Used by Artists, Painters, Polymer Clay, Ceramic, Rubber Stampers, Scrapbookers, Embossers, Encaustic Wax, Resin, Paper Arts, Jewelry, Steampunk, and to create faux finishes on all types of surfaces.

They can be mixed into any media and applied to any surface! And the variety of finishes Pearl Ex can produce is nearly endless—from metallic sheens to pearlescent shimmers to all manner of faux finishes.

Mix Into: Pearl Ex Varnish, Oil, Acrylic, Gouache, Varnish, Clay, Melted wax, Clear or Glitter Glue, Almost any medium!

Apply to: Clay, Embossed Stamped Images, Wax Embellishments, Glass, Metal, Wood, Paper, Fabric, Resin, Almost anything!

Pearl Ex creates a metallic look without being a metal. The particles are flat platelets with two surfaces, therefore it lays down beautifully like a thin coating of metal. The different particle sizes produce different looks — from a fine, smooth, pearly luster to a highly metallic sheen.

It is a safe, non-toxic, inert powdered pigment with a neutral pH. It is extremely color fast and stable — it will not tarnish or fade and is therefore ideal for archival applications.

Hi There,

Sorry, I do not carry any at this time, but I'm looking into it. I use a lot of Ranger products for embossing myself.

I finally got my new craft mat and ranger heat it tool and it came with some of the black tim Holtz distress embossing power and some white UTEE plus I have another brand of white embossing power that is thinner and I like it best but I have only used them with stamps that have fine detail. Thanks. Just keep me in mind if you come across some extra. I love your auctions and I will win one soon!! Hopefully this one lol.

Your very welcome. I just hope it holds till the end! I ran your other one up the other day lol. I just kept bidding thinking maybe I would out bid the girl that had the highest bid but I got it to I think 12k & gave up and let her have it lol. This is more my color here so I am going for it. Also is this good for use with fine detail? I guess what I mean too is is this a finner type powder or med-thick? Either way I love it as its one of my fav colors but I was curious. Thanks again for listing these!

Awww...when it comes to Listia, persistence is the key I've found anyway, same with eBay, I've had some crushing losses only to find something better down the road...it all works out in the end. I try to list at least one color each week depending on my costs and supplies, etc. so everyone can get a chance to win.

All of the Pearl Ex colors are fairly fine and should give good detail, but the smallest is Micropearl at 5-25 microns. The largest is Super Copper and Macropearl at 60-200 microns. The rest average between 20-60 microns.
