For your consideration today, I have a 1984 British Virgin Islands $25.00 Gold Coin.

I was having trouble finding alot of info about this until I took it to my local coin shop today and the owner was just spitting out information to me. lol

This coin was Produced by the Franklin Mint, At a Mintage of 97. Yes only 97. They have a composition of .500 gold. or total AGW of .0241 oz....
So not really a lot of gold but still a nice coin.
He told me these originally came on a blue card in a velvet box and were issued in proof state. He took it off the bezel and looked it over and told me that it looks 100% good. But they really are not sought after cause of the small gold content and not having the original box.

So He put it back on the bezel for me and I decided to bring it home and list it here and maybe someone will want it as either a coin, or to wear as Jewelry.
The Front of the coin has is a side bust of Elizabeth the Second.
The back of the coin has a Peregrine Falcon

The Bezel is Marked 14K and the coin is about the size of a half dime.......

Please no asking for GIN!!!! I have decided to start this at 1 credit and let it fly and hope it finds a good home..........
