Description

The listing, GMO Veggie and Plants LOOK, I know you will! has ended.

I'm always looking to bid on new seeds that I don't have...I always see questions from bidders "Is it GMO?" This auction is for all the great people who share their seeds on here and intended to educate bidders that are inexperienced..The current GMO crops in America...are
Soybeans, Corn, Sweet Corn, Cotton, Hawaiian Papaya, Potatoes 10% of US crop is GMO, Rapeseed (Canola)
Sugar cane, Sugar beets and Rice Tomatoes- New Varieties of Genetically Modified Tomatoes Coming Soon To a Grocery Near You but have been discontinued for now until more research is completed..But no one but major researchers own the GMO tomato varieties or seeds they are still in the Developmental Stage....I think many people confuse Hybrids with GMO...If you take the time to google, you'll get the information you seek... :) I'm starting this Auction at 1 credit....highest bidder is going to receive 5 varieties of Heirloom tomato seeds 20 of each variety 100 seeds.. saved this year for 2015....I never use chemical fertilizers or pesticides in my garden so feel safe in bidding and as always free shipping! Have a great day! Check out my other auction for True Greek Oregano live plants :)

Currently, these are the only GMO crops grown in the US: Corn: 90% (Sweet Corn, Field Corn), Soybeans: 93%, Cotton: 90%, Canola: 90%, Sugar Beets, Squash (yellow and zucchini), Papaya, Alfalfa. Tomatoes were pulled from the shelves due to unpopularity and cane sugar and rice are still in testing phase. I pulled this info from Monsanto's and the farmer/rancher alliance site.

I use the Organic Consumer's website :) I truly do not believe or trust what Monsanto reports, they are not a very transparent company....
