Originating in Appalachia around the late 1800s with huge yellow kernels not seen in modern corn. Produces plants that are 12' tall with each stalk producing 2 very large ears. Excellent for roasting, grits, cornmeal, and corn nuts. Was also known as "bingo corn" in the South as the kernels are so big they were used as bingo chips! Listia verified addresses only may bid.
