The hair clips are basically brand new items, never used, recently taken out of other sets. The other items have not been used, but I couldn't call them new. People have been giving them to my daughter over the last five years or so, but her hair style has never worked with them. Hope that answers your question.
My daughter reminded me that the red one (top left) had a decoration on it that she took off. Some of the threads have come loose. But it's just from removing that thing.
