do u think it would work on a keyboard that is separate from the laptop? My laptop is missing keys so I got this keyboard from Big Lots, but the keys are all worn down so u can't see the letters.

You have the air without a CD player ? If it has a CD player, you would have an eject button. If not, there will be a power button. If you want a power button symbol instead if the eject button, I only have black. It you do not care, then any color is optional

The entire top row is slightly smaller (more slender) on certain MacBooks- if yours is among those, then look at my other listings. I have three types in all. But only two are listed. The macbook that looks exactly like this one but with a power button, is only available in black and since I only have one, I keep it aside in case if someone orders the wrong item (it's a back up)

Personally I think so but I've never seen that model in person. Google the keyboard and make sure they are the same size.
