This is another doll from my daughter's Barbie collection. She is MIB. Shipping will be USPS Priority flat rate...$17.45. Comes with $50 insurance included.

Hmmm. I retired from the PO in January. Wasn't aware there was a cheaper flat rate large box now. The dolls box will only fit in the "game box" size. Will check. Thanks

They have a large bubble envelope that is $5.95, and as long as it fits, doesn't matter what it weighs, its the same price. The post office lady said they have one that they put a football in it,,so they are pretty big.

True, and I'll mail it that way if you want, and if it fits....but there is no protection from crushing the box. If you aren't buying this for a collection, it might work. As I said, I worked for the P.O. for 30 years, I know how pkgs are handled. We'll figure it out if you get it. Thanks! ;-)

I wasn't trying to upset you or disrespect you in anyway,,i understand that you worked at the postal service, i was just trying to be helpfull,,if you put thin strips of styrofoam on each corner of the barbie, it should be alright,,and doesn't the postal serbice offer free insurance...i use to pack items in a warehouse, that went to stores like home depot, & lowes. I also was in charge of packaging mirrors and furniture for davis cabnet company, i also done packageing for betterbilt /peacetree windows. so i do understand about packageing items,,but i also understand the cost of shipping items,,cause i only get a disability check on the 3rd of the month,,and i offer free shipping on all my items. So when i see something that has a kinda high exspence for shipping that could cause people to not bid i only try to be helpfull,,again I'm very sorry if i upset you,,and i wont bother you again.

Hey, that's O.K.....I didn't mean to sound hateful. I used to sell on eBay, and people were always picky about their collectables, so I was just trying to get it there in good shape. Man, if you packed mirrors, I have a lot to learn from you. I used to tell customers at the P.O. " I can NEVER guarantee glass in frames". Seemed like it always arrived shattered. Any help and advice is appreciated! ;-)

Styrofoam on each corner,,on the glass make an X with masken tape, both sides,,then toward the top on one side tape a small piece of the styrofoam & do the same on the back only toward the bottom. ,,,,you have a lot of nice items up for auction,,i sure hope everyone visits your page so they can see and bid,,,might nice...
