Platypus is correct. There are only 3 Yoshi's Island games in existence. One on the Super Nintendo (later released on the GBA as well), One on the DS, and one on the 3DS. The DS game is Yoshi's Island DS. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Yoshi_video_games is a list of all games with Yoshi in it. As you can see, there is only one for the DS.

A bootleg? Excuse me? I purchased this game at a store, it was in its original packaging, I even PLAYED it recently to make sure it worked, and there's nothing wrong with it AT ALL. You think I would actually take the time to bootleg a DS game just so I could get like 100 credits on Listia? Pathetic.

I've seen fake copies of Pokemon in Gamestop. The gamestore probably didn't realize it was a bootleg. Both NTSC and PAL versions of this game are called Yoshi's Island DS, not 2. If it is not a bootleg, then someone must have replaced the original sticker.

There is a Yoshi's Island DS game.
There is also a Yoshi's Island 2 DS game.
I don't know if you're opposed to sequels or you just want to argue, but one more negative comment on my auction and you will be blocked.

It was never printed with the Yoshi's Island 2 sticker. It's a fake. http://aaron-kelley.net/blog/2010/01/on-counterfeit-nintendo-ds-software/ for more info. This cartridge will NOT play on a Nintendo DSi, and most likely not on a 3DS either, so keep that in mind if you decide to bid. This is one of the many games that they mass manufactured counterfeits for. This is not an official product. The seller is blatantly lying and/or ignorant, not to mention incredibly rude. She blocks anyone who points out this is a fake.

The game was originally to be titled Yoshi's Island 2; its name was changed two weeks before its North American release.
