Absolutely love them. I bought a $400 ps3 just so I could play FF13 and then was sadly disappointed... Early FFs were wonderful all the way up to 10

This has been my favorite since I was first introduced into video games. (And I agree with you, early FFs were all wonderful until after ten.)

I'm hoping they come out with a new FF, but one that is not so linear, I like the cutscenes and action from 13 but it's not open world. I did enjoy the card game aspect that was in 8. If the online was FTP (free to play) I would get it, just don't like the monthly charge to play.

The newer Final Fantasy games aren't worth the plastic they're printed on, sadly. Final Fantasy X was decent, but definitely signaled the end of the greatest RPG series ever made. Square would be better off recreating their old games than continuing down their current path.
