Description

The listing, Hge Lot of Air Plants Tillandsia Recurvata + GIN Bonuses has ended.

Up for grabs is a huge lot of air plants fresh picked in Florida. You will get ALL of the air plants pictured in the first two pictures. Pen is to show sizes only. Each "ball" or clump can be divided into individual plants. These do bloom a nice purple bud, and opens up to release seeds that are carried by the air to land & make new plants. They do not need soil. Simply mist once or twice a week, or soak if you like. ***GIN BONUS ONLY*** If GIN is used, you will also get the small amount of Spanish moss in the third picture. This is also a type of air plant. GIN will also get the two shells shown in the 4th picture which would make great homes for some of the air plants. The rest of the pictures are just some of the ideas of what you can create with these plants. They make great gifts for home or office, especially to someone without green thumbs.

I'm pretty sure you killed them by ripping them off their substrates. Next time while harvesting them try to keep the point of contact they have with the branch or whatever they are holding onto so their roots do not get damaged. Best of luck

For the record, these do not have true roots at all. What you are calling roots is actually an anchor for attaching to branches and such. They get all of their nutrients from air and rain water. From Texas A&MN..."What is an epiphyte?
Epiphytes are plants that attach themselves to limbs, tree trunks, power lines, fences, and many other structures with pseudo-roots. These are not true roots. They do not absorb water and minerals; they merely attach the plant to an aerial structure"
