The listing, Crocheted Handbag w/ Gray Rhinestone Flower has ended.
Crocheted Handbag made with soft blue yarn and lined with a black and white fabric. Features a gray flower with a rhinestone center. Super cute! I usually sell these for 40$ online. This is the last of my websites stock before I switch over to my newer inventory. Free shipping! :)
Lol well my mother taught me when I was young and I didn't really get into it. Fast track to 15 years later and she taught me this around Christmas time and I fell in love. YOUTUBE is a wonderful place for beginners to start and I self-taught myself that way. Hope you get started! :)
I was selling them online but this is the last of my stock. I am open to making them still as custom orders in colors my customer would prefer. Thanks for asking. :)
Wow, you are so talented! I'm a self-taught crocheter as well and I finally got the hang of my proper tension but I'm not yet to your skill level. I love making amigurumi animals. Would love to sell them on here, but most patterns state "Do not distribute finished product" and I'm not advanced enough to make my own design
I highly recommend that as you learn crochet you think of why certain things work in patterns. Or why the pattern is written a certain way. That's how I learned how to adapt my own patterns and make them unique. And yes you are right most patterns do say that. However I have learned that nobody can honestly tell you what to do with your creations unless they have copyrighted their pattern. (it's probably unpopular to say that but I don't believe anybody should have the right to say what I do with my creations). Some also just require that you link back their pattern. When people ask for the pattern I just give them the link lol good luck with crocheting. It's such a fun craft and I've only been doing it for 9 months. :)
I definitely agree. I don't mind referring people to the original pattern creator. I'd never give someone another persons pattern. that's just rude. and like you, I dont have a problem citing the pattern maker in my finished items. I think I've been crocheting for about 6 months now
It gets easier the more you work at it. I'm a stay at home mom and sell my things online so I have tons of time to perfect my hobby. Lol id love to see what you make sometime! :)
Sorry to bother you but someone told me my first listing is prob low bids because im a new seller and that i should verify my account do you know what she meant by that how do u verify yr account? Because i listed a very expensive handmade item that usually sells for 50$ online and i think the bids extremely low and is ending soon
U can get verified by going to the Listia website (not the app) and on the left side a out halfway down is a link about verification. U have to verify at least your phone number I think to receive verification. However if your auction is ending soon it would be too late. My first auctions didn't do very well either. It takes time getting into Listia and it does take a little work and a couple losses but eventually you will do just fine. Especially if you plan on listing more beautiful tutus. Remember this site is a free site tho. I don't recommend putting things on here to make a living or even much money. I do it for fun and I love to share the things I make even If they don't sell for much. Hope that helps. Good luck on your future auctions! :)
I haven't done one in a very long time. My sister and I used to do them long ago with my mother (when we were younger) but haven't in a long time. Would love to do one tho. :)
fanned you and watching, I am also a self taught crocheter and just two weeks ago I taught myself to knit. It's fun to know both, because sometimes a real neat pattern will only be for knitting and I am not good at trying to make it over to a crochet. So now I can do both. I belong to a crochet-knit club that meet 1 a week and we have so much fun, we also do a lot of charity projects. We just finished a patch-work blanket using some of our left over yarn ends. Each of us my 9x7 pieces and then we sewed them together. It looks real pretty with all the different colors. We are going to give this one away to a women's shelter. So I am always on the look out for yarn. Sorry this was so long, sometimes I just get excited about our club.
Don't you dare apologize. Lol my husband doesn't understand my love for crochet (crafts in general but crochet is my favorite). I wish we had something like that in the area. What a great idea to make a quilt together! And on the topic of knitting I am very jealous haha I wish I could knit and I've been telling myself I should try it but watching videos online makes it look difficult and time consuming. But I suppose practice would make perfect. Lol and don't worry about your typos. I read it just fine.
