You have some nice beads listed Debi! Try taking some photos closer up, on a white background, no flash with a good desk lamp for lighting, using a natural-daylight color bulb (like Reveal). That's what I do. If your camera has a macro setting, that's what you need for closeups.

Sounds good! You don't need a fancy expensive one for Listia photos, just need one that can take good closeups. A good way to check out any camera you are considering is to go to the http://www.dcresource.com/ This has reviews of cameras going back quite a few years, so you can check out older ones people have listed here or on ebay, etc.
