Description

The listing, ►ORCHID◄SAVE ME►LIVE PLANT◄ has ended.

Some things I can grow, some things I cannot.
The first picture is exactly what it looked like when I bought it. I have had it for about 2-3 years now. Yesterday, the leaves just fell off of it.
I don't know what I did wrong-
So I thought maybe it needed a bigger pot.
Took it out-and pictures 2, 3 & 4 is what I got left of it. Looks as it still has green root going on,
but I just am not good at growing these.
So here is a Quickie 3 day auction-for someone who can survive this baby!!
Good Luck-will send right after auctions end to you Quickly-SAVE ME!!!!!
(If you suggest a GIN-then suggest an amount I can consider, remember-I am paying shipping)

You can Google or YouTube it for different ideas, basically you have to create an environment in which the orchid receives enough humidity to survive without watering or being in orchid mix. It can stimulate root growth, I've seen it. I put the orchid on top if a tray; above a container filled with water. I have a plastic bag over it. you'll have to check the water
levels to make sure it doesn't evaporate. Must have patience as well. But it can save an orchid with no roots. This one has roots so it just needs cleaned with a sterile razor blade. Cinnamon is also safe to use after trimming off the dead roots. Do not put on live roots!!!! Cinnamon is actually very beneficial to plants; look it up. Especially finicky orchids:)

You never know. Orchids roots can take the light. They're different from other plants. It's a challenge, but It is possible with orchids. But there is no guarantee.

From what I have read there is no hope of this guy making it. He will just die off. He needs leaves to help him grow and to take in light and nutrition. And since he doesn't have leaves he probably won't make it even if someone who knows what they are doing took him he will probably just die off.

I love these plants. I just don't have the room for another phaleonopsis. But this plant could easily be brought healthy again with the proper care. Orchidboard.com (I think) is also a great resource.

What color are the very tips of the roots and is the central trunk black? Do the green roots have black on them or feel hallow? Has it been grown in moss or wood? How big is it and what and where are you keeping it in now? How long since it's last flower? Thank you

Just went and inspected this-Here are your answers to the best of my knowledge-REMEMBER-I dont know how to grow these, and that's why I am begging someone to Survive it!
Color of tips of Root-
the harder good looking ones are green wit a bit of yellowish on tips , but look like they are growing to me, Some root have black and hollow-which I pulled and left me wit a vine like thing, But I counted about 4-5 good green root, 2-3 looks a bit of yellow tips, but wit new growth.
It has been grown in Moss.
The size of it is about 4-5 inches all the way around, without stretching out any root.
It last flowered about 1 year ago. It used to hang out in my bathroom by some diffused window light.
Now-You tell me how I need to keep it now, I am not sure and how I should ship it.
Right now-since I took it out, I shook all the moss off of it, it was wet, then put it in a drainage pot, and threw the wet moss back around the roots.
I dont know at this point should it be wet or dry??
Please Help!! It wants to live!!

As of now-still alive, with green root. i peroxided him to kill the bacteria, and then shook cinnamon on him to further help. Got him in a small pot with wood chips around him. Still has some green harden root on him-but serioulsy needs another Human to help him survive-instead of me

Too much water... I love orchids and have quite a few.
They prefer smaller pots and like to be rootbound.
Benign neglect is key with these plants. I always let them dry between waterings.at least with this type of orchid.
It has enough roots.
You could also put it in a humidity chamber to encourage more root growth. (Has worked for me)
You didn't kill it, it still has roots.

I have peroxided it as the link above told me to do, and also sprinkled cinnamon on it-as it stated to kill bacteria. I have it waiting for someone to take it from here as it is now sitting in some woodchips in a pot.
