Set of 4 Coit calligraphy pens with brass nibs. Nibs are sizes 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2". Pens measure 7" in length.In the early 1920's sign painter and lettering artist Harold C. Coit traveled to Europe in search of new tools of his trade. Upon his return to Bridgeport, CT, he created the Coit pen in 1929. Coit pens are made with non-rusting brass nibs that have corrugated ink retainers allowing artists to write for long periods without the need to frequently re-dip pens. Pens can be used with inks and watercolors.
