Just sharing some information. I googled purple leappad & these games go with the older hard plastic model that has a matching book inside it. I can't say if they would work in the newer leappads.

Sorry my button got hit...they look like they go withthe leap frog books but one of the cartridges says leappad. I think these are older so maybe they do fit the leap pad 2 or explorer but i dont know. Its kinda hard to tell
