Originally $100 at an antique shop. This is beautiful. Imagine pulling this out at a store to pay with a check! I used this for about 2 months. I got a compliment everytime I pulled it out! Gorgeous! Always shiny. inside can be bent to fit checkbook perfectly. Can also be used with original checkbook cover still attacked for a tighter fit. Great gift, but also a great present for yourself!

if u put the plastic checkbookthat comes with your checks, they fit in there like a glove. just be careful. i almost got the thing stolen twice!!!!

If it does not tarnish it is not silver and usually items that are silver will have a stamp even if plated.
