If you repair computers or know someone who does , this should be an easy fix. My daughter said it has water damage some how. It powers up but cuts on and off continuously. I don't know, but what I do know is it is up for grabs.

Hi!! Nice auction. I would like to say that my friend had an experience with the person that won this from you last time. He is very difficult and rude and loves to leave his nasty little feedback when people dont bend over backwards to please him. He won an item from my firend and and changed the shipping destination on it and then complained when it did not arrive two days after the auction ended. I think listia should look at his record and suspend him because he is a bully and harrassing and I would in no way ever let his feedback on anyone influence wheter I bid or not. Godd Luck dear and as you saud people should hear both sides of the story.

it's back because the previous winner was a jerk and It took mea little time to send it out to him and the day I actually was ready to mail he filed a dispute. I listed too many auctions and they all ended at the same time and I got backed up. I tried to explain to him what happened and even offered to send free of charge. Now since he has drug my name through the mud I have no time to list any auctions because I have to keep answering these type of questions. Also I refunded hismoney instantly and he still emailed me and said I did't refund his money. So oooooh beware of him not me. I have had good standing on listia until this guy if you check out my feedback. You guys should hear both sides before you just jump down peoples throats. I thought this was suppose to be fun, now I'm starting to wonder. Am I the only one who's made a mistake or two. Now I know where all the perfect people are. On LISTIA.NLOL

Sorry everyone but not to bust your bubble. The rice thing is for immediate water damage only. You are right the rice is a good trick for grabbing excess moisture, however if it has been months and it will not even take a charge.... You are facing one of two problems the PSU is fried or the MB is. Either of which will be expensive to fix.

It does take a charge and it does come on but that's all it does. Please don't help me. I'm trying to sellllllllllll the laptop. If someone wants to ndo the repair, let them don't discourage them. I was completely up front about the damage. Sothanks but no thanks.NLON (not laughing out loud).

Can be motherboard, hard-drive or power-supply (or all 3) that is fried, as for the rice method..its not a cell phone or remote. Most likely all the moisture is gone by now leaving behind it's damage.

Hello, what is the longest consecutive time period this computer has stayed on since the water damage problem was discovered? Does it just shut off after booting? Also I think I'll go for this to try the rice trick as I'm in a need of a new computer and happen to have a bag of rice at hand. xD

Don't let the idiots who can't be bothered to spend a few minutes reading get you down. There are a lot of people on listia who think they're god's gift to the universe and won't forgive even one mistake (even in this case, where it was the buyer's fault for being an idiot and NOT YOURS). Tracking number is like 75 cents or so. This is why for anything I send out over $5 in value gets a tracking number. Automatically! Its proof that you mailed the item and its harder for them to dispute getting the item. Its so worth an extra 75 cents for me to know that they cant con me out of my credits. People think tracking numbers are for the buyers they are really for the sellers. Its proof the item was delivered!
