NOTES:
-1969 was the inaugural year for the San Diego padres.
-Neither Zoilo Versalles nor Danny Breeden ever played in a regular season game for the padres. Versalles was acquired in October 1968 but was traded by December 1968.
-Versalles won the 1965 American League MVP Award when he led the league in doubles, triples, and runs scores with the Minnesota Twins.
-Dave Roberts finished second in the NL in ERA in 1971 (2.10) while pitching for the padres, and finished 6th in Cy Young Award voting despite a losing record. He won 17 games with the Astros in 1973.
-Danny Breeden only played 28 MLB games, but in his 17th, he was the catcher for the Cubs for Ken Holtzman's June 3, 1971 no-hitter, the first no-hitter ever pitched at Riverfront Stadium.
These cards should be considered as filler. They have assorted vintage wear including corner wear, edge wear, surface wear, and light creasing.
