The listing, UNLOCKED_ HTC tilt 2 smart phone_ Needs fixed has ended.

Your bidding on a used, Unlocked HTC tilt 2. It has a problem. It worked fine, but one day the touch screen wouldn't work. So trying to touch it doesn't do anything now. Using the buttons on the bottom work fine. But you can't use the phone right without the touch working. And everything boots up fine, as seen in the pictures. It has been modded with the ENERGY ROM. (a really great upgrade, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VPgUQIfNTU) I really don't know if this is a hard fix. Or a spendy fix. (i'm not a phone expert) So thats why this phone is being auctioned as is.

can u take it to a phone place and see whats wrong with it and then let us know so we can get it fixed or see if it even worth fixing before people bid

Well the worst case is the screen needs replaced, So figure having to fix that. The buttons and functions that you can use with the buttons all work fine. So its def a screen problem.

It won't work for Boost, i don't think. But it works with any gprs sim card. At&t, T-mobile... etc.

The Buttons on the bottom of the phone still work though. Just cant use your phone fully with just those few buttons.

how big is the whole package? will it fit in the small flat rate boxes ? its only around 11.95 to send this way if the phone is under 4 pounds. i checked with usps already.

Yeah... it will fit in a small flat rate box. I don't think it costs 10.95$ though. I think its closer to 6$. So that's good news.

What is the condition? Does the screen have scratches?

Not that that even matters, but no the screen doesn't have major scratches. Its got tiny ones that you have to turn the phone a certain way in the light to see. See the screen is what is messed up. It lost all touch sensitivity. So your probably going to have to replace the screen anyway. Hope that helps.

Great Auction! I have one of these and do custom roms as well... Would you happen to know which version Energy rom it is using? Have you tried to Hard Reset the device? Or even tried Re-flashing original Att stock rom?

We had the first version on it, but then we upgraded it to a newer version. So i'm not exactly sure what one it is, but it isn't the first one.

Ohh and i haven't tried re flashing, or hard resetting it. I figure the winning bidder can do all that. I didn't put the original Energy ROM on it. But we had our phone guy walk us through adding the newer ROM. That was about 6 months ago or so. So its not that old of a Energy ROM.
