It has an arm that sounds around in a circle but it changes direction it goes clockwise and counter clockwise

The guy on "Cat from hell" show said this is one of the best cat toys. I have one and my 2 cats love it, and spend a lot of time fascinated by it. I paid almost $20 for mine!
