This auction consists of 18 Unused - Vintage – All Retired or Discontinued Girl Scout Merit Badges and/or Troop Crests.

They are from the 1960’s to the early 1970’s.
It is evident by the styles and backings - ref. picture # 2. Cheesecloth backing was used in 1963 to 1970, Plastic backing 1970 to 1974.

Kept in storage to prevent environmental damage.
Non-smoking home.

2. ABC – Red Border – Tending Toddlers – Discontinued 1991

3. Round Flowers – Purple Border – Art in the Home

4. Purple Pansy – First issued in the 1960’s

5. Bluebird – First issued in the 1920’s

6. Wild Rose – 1960's

7. Star of Bethlehem (White Flowers)

8. Robin (Brown Bird)

9. Red Rose

10. Purple Violet

11. Bluebell – Discontinued in 1989

12. Morning Glory – 1970 to 1974

13. Daisy – First issued in the 1970’s

OMG! Does this ever bring back memories! I was in girl scouts and became a "first class girl scout". My father and mother were cadet leaders (my father was actually the first male G.S. Leader in the US. We had so much fun! I'd give anything to go back and live those days over again. Thanks so much for sharing! Fanned you!

Thank you Kim! I was just starting to get into girl scouts when I was younger but my mother started working nights so I had to quit. I loved going to Awana and knew girl scouts would have been great too.

Spent 2 yrs Juniors, 3 as a cadet and 1 as a senior Had most of Junior Badges Wish I still had old uniforms Also Spent A Lot Of time as leader for my daughter From Daisy To Cadette

That is awesome! I wanted to be a 4-H Leader as well. Since my mother & grandmother were both left-handed, the only way I learned how to do some of the art work & crafts was to teach myself.

Oh my... Somewhere I have a green sash thats it absolutely covered in these. I miss those days. When I was in Jrs, I think my second year, I got an award for most cookies sold in my state. Watching
