how long does this last for the juice when charged and how long does it take for it to charge ?

It takes an hour or so to charge, and it does depend on the device and what you are doing with it as to how long it lasts, with a cell phone; A non iphone it lasts with a teenage girl 1 1/2 hour full use,:) text,skype,talk,etc.
I am sure if you were watching movies and videos it would probably vary.
An iphone should probably step up in power level and get one that has more mAhs

using it about an hour and a half depending on the amount of power needed for different apps, games take more power than a song so the time would vary

what's the life of the battery if you just leave it on your shelf how long does the battery stay good for it until it starts to go down ?

oh I see, they all will leak just a tiny bit after a while but they should stay charged on a shelf for quite a while, they do not come charged so I cannot open one after a month or two and really find that out... I really do not know on that one, I would have to do an experiment I guess,I just couldnt tell you on that one but it is a Lithium ion so maybe google it, not sure???
