Neck is fine. No warped at all. Stays in tune just fine. Its got little bangs and scratches but no holes or gouges. I have two others that I play much more often. I'm just looking to get this one into the hands of someone who will play it.
They normally take a standard nine volt battery. Yamaha guitars are known to be well made and last a long time, albeit they're generally considered a starter guitar, Many pros start with one, and even when they have the high dollar stuff, they keep their yamaha close at hand for songwriting and practice. They're good, just not all that expensive as guitars go. Sure, they don't have some of the fancy woods and all that, but are darn good. I've always liked their quality. I have 15 or 16 on hand, but they're not Yamahas, they don't stay around, they always sell quickly.
It takes a 9v battery, but the clip that holds the battery in place broke, so it'll have to be replaced in order to use this guitar with an amplifier. Also, shipping would be $15 to your zip.
