I got this a couple of years ago but I don't remember too much about it. I believe it is called Raspberry Labrodorite and it is in 925 silver per the markings in the band. It is probably between a 7 1/2 and an 8...that's the size I was wearing before my 100 lb weight loss. Now, with a size 5 finger, I have several rings I just cannot wear anymore. What I found so appealing in this ring is it a raspberry color, but when you move it, it has beautiful underlying tones of irridesent blues, almost like a gorgeous sunset or how the sky looks after a storm when the sun starts shining again. Or as darkness falls and lightening lights up behind the clouds. Gee, it is so difficult to explain without sounding like romantic novel. I tried to catch the undertones in the first picture and I do think you can see fairly easily the coloring I'm trying to describe. The ring is a tear drop shape with some very pretty silverwork around the side of the ring. You can even see the fire underneath. I think it is one of the most unusual gems I have seen from the color changing aspect. It is a good size...not too small as to get lost, but not so large that it has to make the cocktail rounds not to look out of place.

If you like unusual natural gems, then this is probably the ring for you. I can just sit here and stare at it looking at the different hues given off, kinda like being mesmerized by the different colors when a diamond is hit by just the right lighting. The only thing I can think of now is, "Try it. You'll Like It!!!"

I wish I could say it was strictly will power, but I wouldn't trade my lap band for all the tea in China. This picture was taken at least 20 pounds before I was finished losing, so I went from a 22/24 to a 10/12. That was two years ago and it is the best thing I have EVER done for myself. Didn't know you were going to get a book written back, did you? LOL Thank you for the kudos, and thank you for checking out this unusual ring!

Well, I lost the 1st 40 pounds in 3 months by drinking EAS protein drink with some peanut butter, 1/2 banana, cocoa powder and Splenda done in the blender with ice so it was really thick. It was so good I didn't miss food. Problem is, I lost too much and they told me I had to gain some back before they would do the Lap Band. Well, forget that one....Since I always wear scrubs, I just put some computer parts in my big ole pockets before they weighed me and didn't have a problem at all. The lab band took care of the rest. Of course a lap band isn't for everyone, but that protein drink is...and you can change it out and make a fruit drink for variety. That was just the way I did it, and it didn't bother me at all. Thanks for asking...I could talk about it for an hour, but neither of us has the time LOL
