This soap dispenser is one of my favorites! All you do is fill it up with your favorite dishwashing liquid and it lets out the amount of soap out as much as needed. Great for cleaning glass and those hard to clean those arrears of grease, You'll never have to use another dish towel again! Mine works perfect and wouldn't trade it for the world! No messy clean-up and your dishes and pots and pans are clean by using this Soap Dispenser! It takes less than what you would really use using a cloth!

Is it safe for coated cookware - will it scratch?

Absolutely! It doesn't scratch anything, even glass. I use one of mine to wash the walls and baseboards as it gets into all the nooks and crannies.
