The listing, Eddie Bauer Child Harness has ended.

Some people do not like these things. However, when you live in a big city with a toddler they are a life saver, literally. Great shape, there is some fraying on the tag. Machine washable.

The clasps, are they plastic? How often did you use this? Did it feel strong?

The clasps are very strong. I used this with Mattie from the time he was walking good, about age 1, til he was 3. The clasps are plastic but Eddie Bauer makes good stuff. I wouldn't recommend it for a child older than 4 or more than 40 pounds. Mattie was always good about not pulling very hard but of course every child is different. Hope this helps.

No, the straps are adjustable. Although if a child were to weigh more than 40 to 50 pounds I wouldn't use it. Some children at that weight are stronger. I guess for me it would be a safety issue.
