Questions & Comments
@cj1994, Listia doesn't allow a GIN lower than 2000, but also 300 is a VERY low asking price. Especially on a Free Shipping auction. I could maybe see asking that if the was auction was for like 5-10 squares. I'm sorry to but in.
No, thank you for commenting. I didn't even know about the 2000 GIN limit. Actually, my average price for charm squares is well over 150 per square, with my best at 700 per square! Depends on how bad someone wants them! LOL
Hi all y'all! I make jewelry, beaded things, crocheted things and other misc. types of craft items, but I don't sew or quilt. I do, however, have some batting & quite a bit of fabric, used for quilting. Many colors & patterns. I don't know what to do with it! My mailman left me a "surprise" box on my porch one day with all of these quilting supplies and a lovely desk lamp. I'm keeping the lamp ...LOL... but didn't know the best way to re-cycle these very pretty lots of fabric. If anyone can tell me, my question is this: Do I list it as is OR (now that I've found this auction, thank you very much for having it!!) do I cut all of it into 5" by 5" squares? How would you ladies like it, since y'all obviously quilt, right? Also there is a measuring board, rubbery, green marked with yellow lines and some ?bobbins maybe, small, clear and some opaque yellow ?thimbles? If anyone can tell me the best way to get these things to ladies such as yourself, I'd be grateful. I'm thinking take the time to cut it because your fabrics look gorgeous the way you've laid them out, Denise! I'm so glad I found you as I needed to ask someone who knows about the items I was given. Poor man got confused - he knew I am an artisan, he simply forgot what I make! God bless and best of luck with all your auctions, Denise and all y'all!! ~Poppy~
Hi Poppy. I will gladly help any way I can. But in the future, it would be better to send a message to someone instead of a comment on an auction listing. I don't mind, but I think it is against Listia rules. I will respond to your questions in a message.
I have done both. Just depends on the fabric, and my mood! LOL But I have always been a fan of scrap quilts! So, most of the fabrics I have are 1/2 - 1/4 yard pieces. And I usually just cut them as I got them.
