Description

The listing, Antique 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar. Great for a collector or investment! has ended.

What a great coin! Big, heavy, silver, and old!
This is an authentic coin. I Inherited from by grandfather but we have several more so parting with one couldn't hurt.
It's in average circulated condition. You can still see the date and stamp well. It hasn't been polished or cleaned and I would suggest that you don't do either to it.
This would make a wise investment, silver prices are sky-high still and expected to rise!
I'm seeing coins like this go for 30+ on Ebay, who knows how higher it will go. Maybe in a few years it'll be worth over 100$ just for the silver in it.

Free shipping to the US.

yup, that is the best way i know, weigh it. fakes just do not weigh the same. acid on it, or removing metal with a stone is never good idea. love these, maybe one of the most collectible coins out there. prices are reasonable on many of them, so no need to go broke to fill a few holes. not that long ago there were more of these then pennies on the tables and in the machines in vegas. was a different feeling having stacks of these instead of clay chips.

Because he worked as a coin dealer after WWII :-) And if you really want to be sure, I'm getting a silver testing kit shipped to me, I can keep the coin until I get it and can test it

They are! This one hasn't been polished so the detail is still sharp. There is a bit of wear but for the most part it's simply patina'ed over the years.
Normally I wouldn't list something so valuable (the scrap value is ad least 30$ in silver) but I have over 10 more all passed down from my grandfather, so parting with one couldn't hurt.
I hope whoever gets it decides to keep it and cherish it for years instead of scrapping it!

Well I just got one from Amazon, it said it would be coming between June 28-July 14. That's sort of a long time though so I'll have to check with the winner

plse dnt use da silver testing kit on it!!!!! (cus im most likely winning this) i trust ur opinion, it rlly easy 2 tell if its real. Just if its heavy or not, and it should NOT stick 2 a magnet, since silver is not magnetic, try that. But besides the fact, they r cool coins, worth about $35 in this condition, its not like its a rare date or something, still great coin!
Jun 22nd, 2011 at 8:06:37 PM PDT by

Tried the magnet test, it didn't stick

My cheap-o postal scale says it's 26.7 grams, that's on-par with what the weight is supposed to be
