Questions & Comments
the fact that shes avoiding some questions should tell people what they already know... im passing on this one,,,,,,good luck whom ever wins..
some one asking you for specs on your laptop are not questions ? are you serious thats a ligit question get real here lady in most cases when comments that are ligit are not answered it usually means ones hiding something..
Sunkissed...you shouldn't be so rude to people who are trying to give u a chance. I was thinking bout bidding on this despite your horrible reputation. I have plenty of credits, but you have been so rude. You can answer the persons question. This is supposed to be YOUR auction and yet other people have to do the work for you and answer bidders questions because you dont. I wouldn't be surprised if the winner never receives this. You shouldn't waste peoples time.
hey welcome to listia and I don't want to be rude but tracking is only a dollar and some change, even without the tracking and just to ship this thing, it will cost you around 10. just to let ya know it will probably come with tracking because its over 1 pound just letting ya know, post office can get expensive!
@SunKissedScars, You shouldn't be so quick to take offence. Most people are just trying to help, and don't intend to give you any attitude. They just assume that everyone is 'grown up', and don't need to be tip-toed around for fear of offending them. Both Kathrynwagner165 and charityscott33 (at least in his later posts) were trying to be helpful, while you seemed anxious to be offended.
You should try to be aware of how the choices you make and the words you use will make you appear to the bidders.
If you ignore questions, potential bidders will assume that you have something to hide. That's true for EVERY auction, not just yours.
Don't be afraid to say, "I don't know". There is nothing wrong with not knowing something. Being ignorant is NOT the same as being stupid. But after you say "I don't know", then you should try to find out, and post the answer later. Willful Ignorance is even worse than being stupid. Stupid is (generally) a biological problem, and can't really be helped. Willful ignorance is a choice.
Anyway, I shouldn't have to add this, but I will anyway. I'm not trying to imply anything about you, so don't look for meaning deeper than exactly what I've said. I used certain words (for instance, 'grown-up'), but they were used in a 'generic' way to convey the way that people MIGHT think about you, and in no way are meant to describe the way you ARE. So, when I used the words 'grown up' I was NOT implying anything about you, I simply couldn't think of a better phrase to describe people that are not looking for excuses to be offended.
Just ask yourself, who is more trustworthy? A person who appears to dodge questions and is quick to take offence?". Or a person who says "I don't know" when they don't know?
So, anyway, the big take-away here is that you really should try to answer all the questions that get asked, even if only to say, "I answered that", or "I don't know".
sun its up to us as sellers to provide the imformation when we list our items you can look it up online and provide the imformation because people are still gonna ask and your only going to get frusterated if you dont have answers.. im sure this is a great laptop and i know you are wanting good credits without that info people are requesting it may not do as well as you like it too,,, just a suggestion..

Umn, no. It's a CHROMEBOOK, as she said in the title. Chrome is not just Google's browser, Chrome is also an OPERATING SYSTEM, like Windows.
A ChromeBook is a netbook designed specifically to run the Chrome OS. (Or at least has the Chrome OS installed on it.) The advantage of this is that the manufacturer doesn't have to pay Microsoft $100+ for Windows. In fact, Microsoft has convicted the government and ANY computer manufactured and sold inside the united states WITHOUT an operating system, is simply a receptacle waiting for a pirated version of Windows to be installed on it, and so are able to charge the companies for a Windows installation that was never put on any computer (Otherwise known as "The Microsoft Tax"). That is why it's nearly impossible to buy a computer from one of the major manufacturers inside the USA that doesn't already have Windows installed on it. Especially since you'll probably end up paying for Windows whether or not it came with the computer!
The only way to get around the Microsoft Tax, is to install an operating system other than Windows on the computer.
The Chrome OS is, I assume, a variation of the Linux Operating System. Just like the Google's Android operating system for phones and tablets is. Don't ask me WHY they gave their computer OS and their web browser the same name. Someone probably decided that it would be a marketing plus.
Where did you get "Windows 7 Starter OS" from? Thin air apparently.
People will flag your auction if you don't put the specs of your product when asked to do so. They will flag it as "not enough information". Every listia auctioneer should know this by now.
No cd drive does that mean I can't put a cd in it if I wanna download my printer? is that what it means? Well like Sun I know nothing about my Gateway about 8yrs. ago & need not a new one cuz after all said & done I spent over a thousand, I had stupid on my forehead when I bought mine! I wish I would have had someone with me that knew about pc's!! Thank-you! So should I get this comp.?
This is a samsung using windows 7 starter OS with Google Chrome for its browser But more importantly Im wondering about this persons age because she looks to be MAYBE 15
dimensions are 11.40"(w) 0.66"(H) 8.21"(D) has a samsung exynos 5 dual core processor clocked at 1.7 ghz 1MB of cpu cache hd led display with a 1366x768 display 2gb system memory ddr3l ram 16gb internal storage no cd drive webcam stereo speaker internal micraphone hdmi port headphone in and out 1 usb 3.0 and 1 2.0 3in1 multicard slot 4080mAh battery 7hours battery life it weighs 2.43 pounds is that enough info for you ?
If someone gets that ChromeBook be sure to scan every nook and cranny for virus, because those are easy targets for hackers to access thats one reason people get rid of them like dead weight. JUST SAYING!
