Up for grabs is one of my favourite coins. The winner of this auction will receive one (1) 1967 Canadian Confederation Centennial (1867-1967) ‘Hopping Rabbit’ 5 cent piece (nickel) as shown in the first two (2) photographs. Of note, for you collector types, this coin features the Young Lizzy. ;-)

This coin is in circulated condition; has a metal composition of 99.9% nickel; diameter of 21.21mm; weight 4.54 grams. (Despite what my friends and I believed (wished), when we were wee boys, there is absolutely no proof that this coin will bring you fame, fortune or Farrah Fawcett. ;-) But then, there’s no proof that it won’t either…)

PLEASE NOTE - This coin is in circulated condition and will come, as shown in the pictures, in a coin flip. Coin easel NOT included. ;-)

BONUS - Because it's always great to get a bonus - like when you buy a case of beer and they give you...more beer ;-) - the winner of the auction will receive as a second 'Hopping Rabbit' nickel for a total of two (2). Imagine that, you buy a case of beer and they give you another case free...there's a name for a place like that...it's called Canada, eh. ;-)
