Well I suppose they could but I'd think women would prefer it really up to your taste I guess. This is 30 in long so it goes well with any thing but my wife like to pair it with her charms or alone and a sweater during winter but looks nice even with a tee shirt. Hope this helps.

Oh Im sorry this is the 16 inch not 30 Im sorry! I do have a 30 in up that is just as Gorgeous as this one but depending on the man's neck size he could wear this if its his style or liking. This is also a great gift for a young lady or boy for birthday or xmas it's around the corner! I will have different styles coming in the next few weeks too all 30 inches sterling silver! I bought a few for my daughter and wife and they LOVE LOVE them! So I though the nice ladies or gental men would love them as well on Listia and they have been going fast and cheap for what was paid for them but oh well I did buy in(not allowed to name stores) bulk and I drive a truck for a living so I come across deals all the time so... lol but ya these ARE nice!!
