I baught this plant a few years ago off eBay and it has reproduced bulbs so I have a few in my yard now but only willing to let one bulb go for now hopefully by next year I'll have more bulbs to share on here. And I had never seen this type of elephant ear until I came across it on eBay it doesn't get as big as the green ones but is still beautiful plant.

I may have to give it a try. I am trying now to get some babies from last year to grow; supposedly they are ones that bloom. In my almost 100 years, I don't remember ever seeing blooms on elephant ears. And I have had some nice big ones around here.

Yes I've only seen the blooms in pictures I've never seen my elephant ears bloom either I'm guessing the more tropical areas have the blooms not sure
