This is an excellent true story about how a young Hungarian boy survived the Holocaust. A story kept secret for over fifty years. Stephan Nasser somehow dug deep within his soul to survive the brutal and inhumane treatment his captors inflicted on the Jews. He was the only one of his family to survive but the memory of his brother's dying words compelled him to live.

This book is from a smoke free home and in excellent condition and a wonderful read. Very well written.

Reading about the Holocaust hurts my soul,,yet I still do, pretending it did not happen hurts worse. I will bid, thx.

Mine also, but I do like reading about those who have overcome or have survived. This book is an excellent read and very hard to put down.
