If you have a min. bid requirement for Free Shipping, then you should post what it is. The way I look at that statement is that your originally posted/asked for amount wouldn't be free, but anything higher would be. Please let me know if my assumption is wrong because I don't have paypal or anything so I normally only bid on items with free shipping.

The minimum bid is 499 and was evident when the auction first went live.
When setting up an auction, there is a function to allow for a minimum bid. The first bid must be that minimum.
So - no worries - the minimum has already been met.
