actually its media mail so the shipping is $3 with tracking maybe 3.20 if it weighs less then 1 lb if its over 1 lb its in 4.00 range over 2 lbs maybe 5 but media mail is way cheaper then normal postage. you can look it up at the us post office web site and get an estimate. i would bid on it but if your saying 12 bucks shipping i will have to pass. joey

Are you in the U.S.? I will substitute the (reasonable) shipping charge in lieu of 3000 credits. In the U.S., the charge is reasonable ($12.95) so as long as it's a U.S. address, 3000 credits can be substituted for the charge.

sounds like I need to take it to the counter then - I went by what it would fit into ($12.45 Priority Mail box) - if there is a cheaper means for shipping, I'm all for it

You are correct! It will be $5 for shipping and handling, given the size and weight of the book. However, I'm still going to send it in the Priority Mail box (not a charge the winner needs to pay) as I want to make sure the book is protected. 3000 is steep so I can see 200 as more reasonable for gin in exchange for the shipping.
