Description
The listing, Disney's Sleeping Beauty DVD has ended.
Two years ago a friend offered to buy this on Black Friday while she was out shopping. She never mentioned that she had it until after Christmas! I thought that she didn't pick it up so I purchased another. I've kept waiting for an opportunity to re-gift this but all her friends have it.
This is the 2 disk platinum edition from 2008 and it is in a widescreen format. There are many extras. The case is unopened in its original wrapping. ISBN 0-7888-7700-3
It does not come with the slip cover. This copy was sold as a Black Friday deal at Target. They probably ditched that to save on the price point that day. I believe she paid $12.00 for this copy. That year I purchased the same one for $21. Both copies are identical with the same ISBN but mine does have the slipcover. If the winner wants my slipcover they are welcome to it. It still looks new.
A slip cover is an extra cardboard box with the top and bottom cut out. It slips over your dvd hard case. It usually looks exactly like the case itself. Some people say it protects the hard case so it always looks new. Others think it adds a quality factor to a special edition movie. Then there are some that think its a nuisance and toss them. I personally don't think about them at all. Its just one little extra step to get the movie out of the case. I Googled this question and found that there are many debates about what these things are for. You learn something new everyday. Thanks for the question:)
I appreciate your interest in this auction. Normally I would, but I was a little hesitant to list this because I might be in a pinch for a gift later. Young kids make new friends all the time. I'll just let this one ride it out. I did give your request a lot of thought that's why I didn't answer right off....thanks:)
